28″, 32″, 34″, 36″, 38″ or 40″ IGBC Certified Brutus Boxes
Boxes are built with .100 gauge aluminum, robust can-jar latches, full-length stainless steel hinges, spring-loaded handles, 1″ slots in tabs for easy strap down, and rubber gaskets. Brutus boxes have key lockable latches, a welded channel “stiffener” inside/across the box front, and the IGBC certified sticker. These boxes have been tested with many different bears and meet all IGBC bear-resistant design and structural standards. Mad Cow boxes are water resistant and built to last.

Tabs: Standard tabs are 11″ up from bottom of box to bottom of tab. Tabs can be put at any height (in half-inch increments). Measure from bottom of box to bottom of tab. Standard is 11″ – 11.5″ up.

The Brutus Box is named after a famous local bear here in Bozeman, MT. Brutus, owned by Casey Anderson, has been in several big screen movies. Casey has a show on National Geographic called National Geographic’s Into the Wild. Casey and Brutus endorse and use our product while filming these shows.
